QA Functionality & Localisation Tester

Having completed Tech Educators’ Software Development Bootcamp shortly before starting at SEGA Europe, I was in the prime position to take the software testing skills I developed during my time on the course and take sole responsibility for the quality assurance of the latest build of SEGA’s official website on Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Android and Apple.

Using the documentation provided via Figma, I tested each aspect of the site’s functionality. This involved inspecting aspects such as navigation, accessibility and the intended behaviours of website features. I also proofread the English version of the site and confirmed that the other languages appeared to be functioning (for example, no English in the German version; no language breaks the formatting) to the best of my ability. Finally, I was responsible for checking the design choices of my studio’s website, making sure that each page and section matched documentation, and that they displayed as intended on a variety of resolutions.
